I started using make-up at a young age. I loved playing dress up when I was a little cherub. Little did I know, that it would be a contributing factor in doing what I love most. Cosmetics have played a large role in my life. Firstly, while I was modelling; I had to know how to apply make up correctly so I didn’t look like a clown and also follow the current trends. I guess, although I am no longer modelling; you know 3 kids and all, I still make sure I keep abreast to the current trends and new products.
You can imagine I have used some products in my time. Some have been used a handful of times and then left to gather dust, until I have removed them to a greener pasture (the bin). But some products I go back to again and again and of course after time, I have added more to my bag of tricks.
A good skin care regime goes along with the cosmetic products that people should use. See my previous post about my skin care regime and what I use on a daily basis and why I use them. I do wish I had been educated at a younger age how important a good skin care regime is. Especially the application of a good sunscreen to protect the skin from aging.
I am adding some of my favourite make up products, with shop-able links. I have quite a few favourites from Charlotte Tilbury especially their lipsticks and lip pencils. I also use their contour wand and I am obsessed with it, it is so very easy to use and of course blended with a beauty blender.
Makeup is about balance. When the eye makes a statement, the lips should be quiet.
